Tiger Woods personally apologized to Team USA's Ryder Cup rookies for his performance in the team's loss to Team Europe. Does he have anything to be sorry about?
- KatieMay1924: "TIGER should not apologize to anyone, afterall it was a team event so there are other people who could have gotten one point...look at Phil, like usual he fell apart in the singles event!"
- sternMDGA: "Tiger played great on Friday PM, just ran into a guy that had the best round of his life (Colsaerts) and got no help from Stricker. Four birdies on the back nine on Saturday got them within half a point, only for Stricker to blow an easy putt on 18 and give the half point away. If it had mattered, I have no doubt that Tiger would have gotten par on 18 on Sunday and won, instead of halved, the match."
- rpayne1478: "I get the apology, but why not to the whole team instead of just the rookies? Outside of the morning session on Friday he played decent. He went up against some guys who just played better."
- Logic Assassin: "Tiger did the right thing, he acted like a role model, and took responsibility for the team. He let the rookies know it wasn't on them, it was on him."
- Anonymous Opinion: "Stricker is the one that should be apologizing...he did not help Tiger out at all in match play."
