It's a testament to the success of the Lakers' franchise that the team hasn't started a season 0-3 since 1978-79. So even if Kobe Bryant was joking when he said the time to panic is "now," we can understand why there's concern in Lakerland -- especially when the Lakers were handed loss No. 3 by the Clippers. Now Steve Nash is out at least a week with a small fracture in his leg.
So what's wrong? Is the Princeton offense coach Mike Brown installed a bad fit? Is failing to stop the other team the bigger issue? Or should Lakers fans relax and remember they've played just three games out of 82?
