On Tuesday, Jerry Jones said that as long as he is the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, he will not step down as general manager. The Cowboys are 3-5 this season, coming off two consecutive seasons of missing the playoffs. Dallas has won just one playoff game in the last 15 seasons, and unless things turn around quickly, it doesn't look like the Cowboys will be adding to that total this year. On Wednesday, "First Take" debated whether the Cowboys can win another Super Bowl with their owner also playing the role of GM, with Skip Bayless saying Dallas can win with Jones calling the shots, while Stephen A. Smith says Jones has to give up his dual roles for the Cowboys to be successful.
