The Spurs, playing their fourth game in five nights -- and league-high 17th of the season -- nearly beat the Heat without Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green. Coach Gregg Popovich sent the foursome home to San Antonio a day early, holding them out of Thursday night's game for "rest." Commissioner David Stern was not pleased and promised "substantial sanctions" against the team. Popovich has a track record of holding his stars out at points in the season to maintain their aging legs for the postseason, but was this taking it too far? Should the NBA intervene?
