Somewhat surprisingly, Indiana has retained the top spot in the AP's men's college basketball rankings. The Hoosiers fell to the Illini in a stunning 74-72 defeat last week, the fifth consecutive week in which a top-ranked team had been upset, but that wasn't quite enough for a team like Duke or Miami to take over. Duke's squeaker of a victory over unranked Boston College may have prevented them from moving up, but they'll have plenty of opportunities to overtake Indiana in the weeks leading up to the NCAA tournament.
Indiana is the first team in over a month to hang on to the No.1 ranking, but it's been a bit of a revolving door of late.
Indiana's likely going to get a very high seed in the NCAA tournament, but will it struggle to make headway this year?
