When Kobe Bryant fell to the floor with a sprained left ankle, the Lakers' playoff hopes might have hit the deck with him. The Lakers have gone 8-3 and surged into the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference since Bryant issued his postseason-or-bust guarantee late last month. Bryant has been a big part of that run, scoring 30-plus points in all but three of those games. Now that he's out indefinitely, will the rest of the Lakers maintain their recent success?
Bryant's ankle apparently rolled over Hawks forward Dahntay Jones' foot when Bryant landed. Jones said it wasn't intentional, but the two have a history. Was it an accident?
