The Clippers' best season in franchise history came to a screeching halt with four straight playoff losses to the Grizzlies. But the disappointment of a blown 2-0 series lead could prove to be a blip on the radar screen compared to what happens in the offseason, with Chris Paul eligible for free agency and coach Vinny Del Negro's contract set to expire.
While the Clippers' front office is "very confident" that Paul will re-sign with the team, the All-Star point guard's departing comments left room for doubt. As for Del Negro, even the franchise's first division title and all-time best 56 wins are no guarantee he'll be retained. Will Paul remain in Lob City? Will Del Negro still be his coach?
