Lakers use amnesty on Metta World Peace

The changes keep coming for the Los Angeles Lakers, who used their amnesty provision to cut ties with onetime NBA Finals hero Metta World Peace. The forward formerly known as Ron Artest was a key cog on the title-winning team in 2010, and he started 270 games over four seasons in Southern California.
