Ndamukong Suh is lucky that his Lions ended up winning against the Vikings -- otherwise, his illegal block on John Sullivan might be getting more attention. The penalty nullified an interception return that would have given the Lions the lead, and while they ended up coming back and winning, it's a play that never needed to happen in the first place. Suh has been a force on the defensive line for his entire career, but his habit of racking up personal fouls has blunted his effectiveness.

Short-sighted penalties?

Suh plays his position in a very old-school manner -- aggressively, effectively, and with very little in the way of apology.

How much of a negative effect have Ndamukong Suh's personal fouls had on the Lions?
