Broncos -- unstoppable or vulnerable?
Hours after the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints extended their unbeaten runs, the equally loss-free Denver Broncos stayed that way with a win over the Dallas Cowboys. No surprise, right? Well, on one hand, it was yet another offensive outburst for Peyton Manning and his crew; their 51 points moved them to 230 on the year (46 per game). Still, Denver fell behind 14-0 and allowed 48 points -- all part of a give-and-take shootout that became the NFL's second-highest-scoring regulation game since the merger. And if it weren't for one of Tony Romo's signature late INTs, perhaps Dallas would have won.
