Kentucky, Syracuse and North Carolina all received No. 1 seeds despite losing their conference tournaments, while Michigan State grabbed the last No. 1 after defeating now No. 2 seed Ohio State in the Big Ten tournament final. Florida State continued its surprising run, earning a No. 3 seed after claiming the ACC crown.
