Rank 'Em: Postseason Closers

Created: October 2, 2009, 2:11 PM

Does anyone rank ahead of Mariano Rivera?

Now that the Twins have prevailed over the Tigers in Tuesday's showdown, all the postseason teams are set -- which means that the roster of closers who will be plying their trade in the playoffs has been determined as well.

For some teams, like the Yankees and Red Sox, the likes of Mariano Rivera and Jonathan Papelbon will be on call in the ninth inning. For others, like the Phillies, Brad Lidge -- lights-out in years past, but a disaster in 2009 -- will have to do. Which teams have the biggest advantage when trouble is brewing in the last frame?
