Vote: Who will stay in New York longer?

New York City is one of the largest cities in the world, but it might not be big enough for both Carmelo Anthony and Phil Jackson.

Jackson took a shot at Anthony on Twitter on Tuesday, escalating the tension between the two as the New York Knicks continue their disappointing season and trade rumors swirl around Anthony.

"Phil Jackson is trying to find a scapegoat to cover over and gloss over the stuff that he did," said Stephen A. Smith on First Take on Wednesday. "He's trying to pass the buck with accountability and his target is Carmelo Anthony.

"Carmelo Anthony does not like this man. This is not some situation where 'Oh it's a little disagreement.' Carmelo Anthony does not like this man. It has to sever. As long as Phil is gonna be there, Carmelo has to go."

This tumultuous relationship seems to be heading toward a breaking point. Who do you think will stay? Vote now in the poll below!

Both Anthony and Jackson have two years remaining on their contracts with the Knicks. Anthony, however, is one of three players in the NBA who has a no-trade clause.
