In Kansas City, they ought to call it pang for the buck: Nobody in the NFL -- or in any of the four major sports for that matter -- forked over more moola per win than wounded Chiefs cheerers, who dished out a painful $259.68 per victory, or more than 11 times as much as the local baseball team (Royals, $22.30 per W). How discontented are KC football fans? Last October it took less than an hour to raise money to fly a banner over Arrowhead Stadium that read: "We deserve better! Fire Pioli -- bench Cassel."

At least the people got what they asked for (and more): During the offseason, GM Scott Pioli and QB Matt Cassel were replaced by John Dorsey and Alex Smith, respectively. What's more, after watching the team churn through three head coaches in five seasons, fans seem to be comforted in knowing that new hire Andy Reid, who was with one team for the past 14 years, should provide some stability on the sideline.
