The Astros held a "funeral" for his outfielder's leather, complete with fake graves adorned with the veteran's career achievements. Catcher Brian McCann dressed up as a priest and led the service.

The 40-year-old Beltran last appeared in the outfield during an interleague contest against the Miami Marlins on May 16. The Astros' primary designated hitter has played just nine games on the grass all season.
Beltran didn't look too sad to part ways with his glove, smiling with his teammates after they all paid their respects.
R.I.P. to Beltran's outfielder's mitt. It was a good run.
