Instant Awesome: Reds 2B Scooter Gennett and former teacher reunite

Cincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett knew from a young age he was going to be famous -- specifically, as a baseball player.

Just ask his third-grade teacher, Sharon Snyder.

The two had the opportunity to reunite at the Great American Ball Park on Friday, where Snyder shared some framed articles from Gennett's record-setting four-home run game on June 6 against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Have to give it to the teacher for hanging on to that baseball all these years and following the career of Gennett, now 27.

The bat Gennett used during the four-homer game will now be honored in Cooperstown.
