Many expected the Broncos to beat the Ravens on opening night of the 2013 NFL regular season, but for Peyton Manning to have dropped a record-tying seven touchdowns on 462 yards passing ... now, that was a gift. Manning started out slow (his first TD didn't come until the second quarter), which is understandable; kickoff was delayed 33 minutes because of a lightning storm. Once No. 18 got warmed up, there was no turning back for him and his receiving core.
Joining Manning in the Cross-Sport top 3 and in their specific sports record books was Serena Williams, who won the US Open, her 17th career Grand Slam title, and became the first female to top $50 million in career earnings. Rounding it out was Rafael Nadal for his win on the men's side. Do you agree with our Top 10? Check out our list and let your voice be heard in the comments.
