Novak Djokovic

Novak Djokovic told reporters at the Miami Open that he has trained pain-free for the last two days, a welcome change from two years of struggling with a pesky elbow injury. "It's quite refreshing," Djokovic said on the eve of the tournament he's won six times. "I can actually start focusing on the game instead of thinking about whether the pain is going to reappear or not." The world No. 12 had a "small medical intervention" on his right elbow after the Australian Open. He will play his first match in Key Biscayne on Friday and hope it goes better than his most recent outing, a second-round loss at Indian Wells.
