"His condition is fair," Lakeisha Williams told the website on Wednesday. "He's up and walking around, but he's not at 100 percent."
Lakeisha Williams said her husband, 74, was released from the hospital last week.
"He needs speech therapy, psychological therapy and physical therapy but for now he refused," she said. "I'm trying to get him under control and relaxed so that when we come back from out of town we could try to get that going. But he doesn't wish to be bothered with anybody."
Richard Williams was not in attendance as Serena Williams won the Wimbledon women's singles title last Saturday to tie Steffi Graf with 22 Grand Slam titles, the most in the Open era. That same day, Serena teamed with Venus to win the women's doubles title.
