ESPN'S College GameDay
College GameDay will be aired live at 11 a.m. from ESPN's studio in Bristol, Conn. Host Chris Fowler and analysts Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit preview each week's slate of games and the sport's key issues:
Friday's Fallout (a.k.a. "Who's number two?): Reports on the two Friday games pivotal in the B.C.S. standings and a spot in the Nokia Sugar Bowl against Florida State with Steve Cyphers (Nebraska at Colorado) and Scott Walker (Boston College at Virginia Tech).
Suddenly, Stanford: Shelley Smith reports on how the Cardinal is Rose-colored and heading to Pasadena for the first time since the 1971 season.
Hawaiian Paradise: From 0-12 to 8-3 and atop the WAC...Shelley Smith reviews Hawaii's season, the biggest one-year turnaround for a winless team ever.
Since 1993, College GameDay has traveled most weeks to the day's big game. The 1999 "road show" venues will be decided as the season develops, leading to coverage from the national championship game, the Nokia Sugar Bowl in New Orleans Jan. 4.
