SEATTLE -- Three-time WNBA MVP Lauren Jackson will be out of Seattle's lineup for at least three weeks with a hip injury.
Storm coach Brian Agler revealed Jackson's injury before Friday night's game against the Minnesota Lynx.
Tests confirmed that Jackson had a labral tear in her left hip. Agler said rest and physical therapy are the initial treatments planned for Jackson.
He said "surgery will be considered" if Jackson doesn't make "adequate progress after three weeks of therapy and ramped up activity."
Jackson hurt the hip in the first half of the Storm's 82-77 victory over the Tulsa Shock on Tuesday.
