ATLANTA -- Atlanta's other pro sports teams are chipping in to support the Dream in the WNBA finals.
The Braves, Falcons and Hawks have purchased a total of 1,500 upper-deck tickets for Game 3 Friday night against the Minnesota Lynx. The tickets are available at no cost on a first-come, first-serve basis to fans calling the team's ticket office beginning Thursday morning.
The Dream are playing in the finals for the second year in a row, but have ranked near the bottom of the league in attendance.
Minnesota leads the best-of-five series heading into Game 2 at Minneapolis on Wednesday night.
The Braves captured the city's last pro sports championship in the 1995 World Series. The only other title was an obscure soccer triumph during the 1960s.
