It's not that Baylor WBB doesn't miss having senior PG Kristy Wallace, who is out with a torn ACL. But freshman Alexis Morris has been really solid in replacement. She had 17 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, and just 1 turnover Sunday as the Lady Bears beat Michigan 80-58 to advance to the Sweet 16. Sophomore forward Lauren Cox also has been impressive in Baylor's two NCAA tournament wins, with a combined 48 points and 33 rebounds. Next for No. 2 seed Baylor is No. 6 Oregon State, which defeated the Lady Bears in 2016 Elite Eight.

It takes a lot to overshadow three teammates each scoring 20 points, but the story out of No. 1 Notre Dame's win against No. 9 Villanova has to be the person who scored 2 points. Not expected to play because of injury, Westbeld changed Notre Dame's defense and offensive spacing when she came on after halftime. Fighting Irish were on pace at the time to allow 171 points in just their first two tournament games -- that's the exact same number of points they allowed in their first three games en route to the final in 2011. Now the question is can she get healthy enough to play twice in one weekend in Spokane?
