Kaela Davis, Georgia Tech part ways

Leading scorer Kaela Davis and Georgia Tech have agreed to part ways, the school announced Tuesday.

Davis was a first-team all-ACC honoree this past season and became the fastest player in school history to score 1,000 points, doing so in 52 games.

She averaged a team-best 19.6 points per game in 2014-15.

"We wish Kaela and her family the very best and we thank her for her two years in our program," Yellow Jackets coach MaChelle Joseph said in a statement.
