This past Saturday, distance jumper Ryan Capes proceeded to break the ramp-to-ramp motorcycle distance jump record in Reno, Nevada. According to Capes, his official distance was 316 feet, 5 inches — triangulated by GPS conducted by Sierra Surveying Inc. The measurement was documented and will now be sent into Guinness for approval.

What's next for Capes? He's claiming over 400 feet on the same ramp-to-ramp setup. Love him or hate him, Capes is gunning for the number one spot. Footage of the jump can be seen here. Stay tuned.
