Feld Motorsports announced Monday that the 10-city 2013 Arenacross schedule will begin Jan. 4-6 in Worcester, Mass., along with the addition of a new title sponsor. AMSOIL lubricants and oils has signed onto the Feld Motorsports Arenacross series as the in-name-title sponsor.

Tyler Bowers, who is fourth in all-time Arenacross victories with 33, will return in his attempt to win his third consecutive Arenacross championship.

"I've been a part of the AMSOIL Arenacross for three years now and it's been good to me," Bowers said in a news release. "The close competition has really helped me and has done a lot for my skill set. Arenacross is about getting back to basics. It's not just about being the fastest; it's also about staying out of trouble. That's why you see the kind of exciting and tough racing you can only get from Arenacross."

Having been a part of the Arenacross series since 2011, AMSOIL will again be the "official and exclusive oil and lubricant of Arenacross." The company is strengthening its ties with the off-road industry by sponsoring the AMSOIL Arenacross series for the next three years.

"Being part of Arenacross for the past couple of seasons has really opened our eyes to the excitement the sport has to offer," said Jeremy Meyer, AMSOIL race program manager. "From the time these kids begin their amateur careers until they move up to Arenacross and into Supercross, AMSOIL has a great opportunity to work with them every step of the way. We can't wait for the start of 2013 AMSOIL Arenacross in January."

The presence of AMSOIL at the races will be bigger than ever throughout the season. There will be increased track signage -- the newly highlighted Amsoil Arenacross logo -- as well as full integration into the championship.

"We are excited to have AMSOIL on board as our name-in-title sponsor," said Feld Motorsports' vice president of two-wheel operations Todd Jendro. "Since AMSOIL became the official oil and lubricant of Arenacross back in 2011, they have provided tremendous support for this captivating sport. "With AMSOIL's commitment to sponsor the championship for the next three years and more than 40 years of heritage in motorsports, there is no doubt that AMSOIL's support will help Arenacross continue to surge in prominence over the next three years."
