ESPN (US)Overview
Outstream Video is a video experience which displays within content on ESPN. As the user scrolls down an ESPN story page they are presented with a muted video advertisement, and can enable audio upon click. ESPN's Outstream Video partner is Teads.
- Outstream video appears on story pages, between paragraphs in the content.
- Users can unmute the video on click.
- VAST and VPAID are accepted (see below).

Video
- Dimensions will be scaled depending on the platform to which the ad is served. The original video submission should be sized at 1280x720.
- Video submissions will be re-encoded by Teads for optimal playback on all devices.
- Overall video length may vary as long as it meets the 10MB file weight requirement. To balance video quality with size, ESPN recommends videos around 60 seconds or less.
- Video will auto-play muted once at least 50% of the creative is in view.
- Audio must be enabled on click only.

Capping
There are no capping restrictions for Outstream Video.
Third-Party Tag
VAST 2.0/3.0 or VPAID tag from approved third-party vendors. Third-party impression and click tracking is allowed. Live creative served by Teads.

Please allow five business days for testing and approval.

HTTPS Compatibility
- All creative, including third-party tracking tags, must use secure protocol (HTTPS).
- Any creative that is not fully secure will be sent back for revisions.
