Required Assets to be Delivered to ESPN
  • One background image
  • One hotspot image
  • Minimum 2 product images, maximum 8 products.
  • Each product must include: one product image, product title, product brand, and price. 50 characters max length for copy.
  • Any necessary font files. Must be Adobe Fonts or webfont files (EOT, WOFF, WOFF2, SVG are accepted). Free fonts, including Google Fonts, are not accepted.
Animation/Ad Behavior
  • The Vertical Shoppable features a single background image with 1-8 hotspot images overlaid on top.
  • The product hotspots pulse periodically to spur user engagement and the pulse frequency can be adjusted as desired.
  • The product hotspot animation runs indefinitely.
  • Product panels slide up and down when a product hotspot is clicked and can be closed with the close button.
  • The product title is displayed once the product panel is opened.

Third-Party Tag
Must be built and first-party served by ESPN. Third-party impression and click tracking is allowed.
Submission Deadline
Please allow a minimum of ten business days for testing and approval.
HTTPS Compatibility
  • All creative, including third-party tags and third-party tracking tags, must use secure protocol (HTTPS).
  • Any creative that is not fully secure will be sent back for revisions.
This ad must be created in-house by ESPN and will be built to ESPN's HTML5 requirements.
