James Neal doubtful against Coyotes

Stars left wing James Neal is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Phoenix Coyotes with an upper body injury.

"He got a little dinged up in practice yesterday," Stars coach Marc Crawford said.

If Neal, who did not skate this morning, can't go the Stars will dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Crawford said Steve Ott and Brian Sutherby are possibilities for taking Neal's spot on the line with Brad Richards and Loui Eriksson.

Tom Wandell, who has missed the last four games with a shoulder injury, will be back in the lineup tonight.

Tomas Vincour, called up from the AHL over the weekend, will make his NHL debut.

Kari Lehtonen will start in goal.

Toby Petersen, who has been out the last 13 games with a leg injury, skated with the team this morning. He went through half a practice with the team yesterday.

"It was a step up," said Petersen. "It's the first time I've done drills with pucks, two-on-ones and things like that. It was a good day."

There is still no timetable on a return for Petersen.

The Stars said tonight' s game will be played and will start on time despite the bad weather.
