Ray Sawada back to AHL

The Dallas Stars have taken right wing Raymond Sawada off injured reserve and are sending him back to the Texas Stars of the AHL.

Sawada played one game for Dallas during his call-up, suffering a shoulder injury in the February 3 game against Boston when he was blindsided by Bruins forward Daniel Paille, who got a four-game suspension for the hit.

Sawada, 26, has played 11 NHL games in his career, registering one goal. He has 17 points (7 goals, 10 assists) in 36 games with Texas this season.
