BYU over Oklahoma has meaning for ACC

Two quick thoughts:

If BYU beat Oklahoma, why can't Miami? Sam Bradford suffered a sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder, and it's not clear how long he'll be out, but BYU's upset of Oklahoma should serve as some inspiration to the Canes nonetheless. If the Canes start with a win over Florida State -- if -- and make the most out of their bye week heading into the Georgia Tech game, who knows how far their momentum can carry them. Realistically, I don't think they'll beat Oklahoma with a healthy Bradford. Odds are the Sooners use this loss like Florida used the loss to Ole Miss last year. But at least BYU proved Oklahoma's not invincible, and that should give the Canes some confidence.

And if BYU can beat Oklahoma, odds are it can beat FSU. This is suddenly a scarier game for the Noles, and don't forget it's on the road. Much has been made of Miami and Virginia Tech's schedules, but FSU isn't on a cakewalk either.
