Pitt defensive tackle Aaron Donald is on the watch lists for the Bednarik, Outland, Nagurski, and Lombardi awards this fall.
And yet he's not first-team all-ACC material?
Psh. That's a snub by the ACC writers, who will soon get to know the beast of the former Big East.
With all due respect to Wake Forest's Nikita Whitlock, Donald is a bigger, more physically imposing lineman, and he had 64 total stops, 18.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and a forced fumble -- as a defensive tackle. He led the Big East last year and ranked 12th nationally in TFLs (1.54 per game). Donald has all of the qualities to be one of the best linemen in the ACC this year.
He just has a new audience to showcase it to.
