This is when doing bowl projections gets fun. Twelve teams have three or more wins, giving them all a shot at bowl eligibility midway through the season. Clemson and Virginia Tech already are eligible. Florida State, Miami and Maryland each need one more win to lock down a spot.

We put Duke back in because the Blue Devils need only two more victories to get to six and look like a different team with Anthony Boone.

Syracuse, Wake Forest and Boston College are on the waiting list. NC State may seem a bit high, but we like the Wolfpack there for geographic reasons.
