Somebody give Randy Moss a hug.
The new Minnesota Vikings receiver didn't feel loved or appreciated by the New England Patriots, and he doesn't feel respected by New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis.
"Between me and him is a mutual thing," Moss told the Vikings Entertainment Network. "It's more of us competing. I think he gets caught up a little but with how he talks.
"I've never said anything about him, good or bad. I still give him his respect, but he hasn't given me mine yet. Sooner or later, I'll get it."
Revis likely will match up with Moss again Monday night, when the Vikings visit the Meadowlands. Revis is returning from a hamstring injury he aggravated when Moss scored a touchdown over him in Week 2 for the Patriots.
Last week, Revis and cornerback Antonio Cromartie took shots at Moss for playing when he wants to and not going hard on every play. Revis didn't play the entire second half in Week 2, and Cromartie held Moss without a catch in a 28-14 Jets victory.
