The injuries for the New England Patriots' offense continue.
In Week 1, center Dan Koppen went down with a fractured fibula. In Week 2, it was tight end Aaron Hernandez. Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe reports Hernandez will miss one to two weeks with a sprained MCL.
Hernandez was playing at a high level for New England. He caught 14 passes for 165 yards and two touchdowns in two games.
This could mean more playing time for receiver Chad Ochocinco. New England ran a lot of double-tight end sets. At times that kept Ochocinco on the sideline as he continues to learn a new offense. But less double-tight end sets could amount to more three-wide formations for New England in the next game or two.
