Second-year wide receiver Sammy Watkins on Wednesday downplayed hip surgery that limited him when the Buffalo Bills began offseason conditioning last week.
"I’m good. I’m working out. Having fun with the guys," Watkins said. "I’m just getting back to working out and just happy to be with the team and great coaches. Just gotta keep getting better."
Watkins was one of 10 players to undergo surgery since last season and all are expected back for training camp.
"I’m just believing in my staff. They are doing a great job," Watkins said. "Just gotta keep working out hard. Right now everything’s been going good. I’m healing. They are working me out the right way. The guys just keep motivating me every day and I just gotta keep getting better.”
