Ravens' Grubbs added to Pro Bowl

Baltimore Ravens left guard Ben Grubbs was added to the Pro Bowl, even though he preferred not to get the invitation.

Grubbs is headed to Hawaii because the New England Patriots beat the Ravens to go to the Super Bowl. Grubbs and Ravens right guard Marshal Yanda are now starters for the AFC, replacing New England guards Logan Mankins and Brian Waters.

This is the first Pro Bowl in Grubbs' five-year career. A first-round pick in 2007, Grubbs is an unrestricted free agent in March.

The addition of Grubbs means eight Ravens were selected to the Pro Bowl: Yanda, linebacker Ray Lewis, safety Ed Reed, outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, running back Ray Rice and fullback Vonta Leach. They all will be starting in the all-star event.
