Podcast: Will McCoy remain Browns' QB?

Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic preview the Cleveland Browns' offseason in their "Two-A-Days" on ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike In the Morning.

They tackle the question: Will Colt McCoy still be Cleveland's quarterback? In my estimation, it's not really a question.

I see the Browns either drafting Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III in the first round or signing Matt Flynn in free agency. I believe the only way McCoy remains the starter this year is if the Browns take Texas A&M's Ryan Tannehill or another quarterback late in the first round. Under that scenario, the Browns would stick with McCoy for a season to give Tannehill more time to learn.

Speaking of Tannehill, new Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Sherman gave him a ringing endorsement. Sherman coached Tannehill as Texas A&M's head coach last year.

“Like all good quarterbacks, he had great poise, very confident in any system, West Coast or not," Sherman told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "Any quarterback has to be confident in his own skin and believe in himself. They always say a great quarterback makes those around him better. I thought [Brett] Favre did that. I think Aaron Rodgers does that. I think Tannehill does that as well.”
