A look at how the quarterbacks around the division fared in Week 7:
Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals
Stats: 14-for-28 (50.0 percent) for 105 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Comment: Dalton continues to make costly mistakes. His interception near the end of the first half, the one that deflected off his lineman's helmet, put the Steelers right back into that game. Dalton didn't crack 100 yards passing until midway through the first half. His 105 yards passing were his fewest since his first NFL game, and he left that game early with an injury. The only pass that keeps him from a failing grade is the touchdown strike to A.J. Green, his only completion to the NFL's leading receiver.
QBR: 16.9 (24th among quarterbacks this week)
Grade: D
Brandon Weeden, Cleveland Browns
Stats: 25-for-41 (61 percent) for 264 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Comment: Weeden was decisive and went toe-to-toe with Andrew Luck, the top overall pick in the draft. He put one touchdown pass only where Greg Little could get it (and yes, that was a fantastic catch), and he found Josh Gordon for another long touchdown pass. But Gordon dropped the potential winning grab near the goal line in the fourth quarter. That would've given Weeden a 300-yard, three-touchdown game.
QBR: 60.8 (11th among quarterbacks this week)
Grade: B-plus
Stats: 21-for-43 (48.8 percent) for 147 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Comment: Flacco's struggles on the road continue. He was sacked for a safety and threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. Those nine points were four fewer than what the offense produced all game. When Flacco is bad, he's really bad. His QBR is the worst by any quarterback in five years.
QBR: 0.3 (last among quarterbacks this week)
Grade: F
Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Stats: 27-of-37 (73 percent) for 278 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Comment: If Mike Wallace hadn't dropped four passes, Roethlisberger would've completed 83 percent of his throws. He reportedly sprained his ankle a few days before the game, but you couldn't tell by how he eluded Bengals rushers in the pocket. He gets downgraded for a couple of mistakes. He was intercepted in the end zone because he forced the ball into double coverage. Roethlisberger also fumbled deep in Steelers territory, leading to an easy touchdown for the Bengals.
QBR: 69.8 (eighth among quarterbacks this week)
Grade: B-minus
