The Browns are looking for more than a win over their former coach (Romeo Crennel) and quarterback (Brady Quinn) Sunday against the Chiefs (2-10). It would also mark Cleveland's first three-game win streak since the Browns won their final four games at the end of the 2009 season.

According to ESPN Stats & Information's Keith Hawkins, the Browns have gone 44 straight games without a three-game win streak. That's tied with the Panthers for the second-longest streak without winning three games in a row.

Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden said the team's confidence is rising after two consecutive wins. "We’re 4-8 and guys are still coming to work enthusiastic," Weeden said. "Guys are excited about the opportunity. Obviously, we’re on an uphill climb because we put ourselves in the situation. We’re playing these last four games for the last four games. I think attitudes have been great. That’s all you can ask, especially this late in the year. Some guys will hit a wall, but I don’t see it. We’re hungry and it makes it more fun to come to work every day.”

The only team with a longer drought is the St. Louis Rams, who have gone 92 games without a three-game win streak. Like the Browns, the Rams have won their past two games. St. Louis has a winnable game Sunday, when the Rams pay at the Bills (5-7).

It's a rarity for the Browns and Rams to win three straight games, much less do it on the same day. Since the Browns returned to the NFL in 1999, there has been only one season when the Browns and Rams both had three-game win streaks (2001).
