On the clock: Are Steelers still 'relevant'?

In the video above, Mel Kiper Jr., Chris Mortensen and Trent Dilfer discuss whether the Steelers' fear factor is gone and talk about how they can develop young talent to remain relevant.

Mortensen believes the Steelers are "on the bubble" when it comes to being relevant. His biggest points are the lack of turnovers generated by the NFL's top-ranked defense and the continued absence of safety Troy Polamalu.

Over the past two seasons, the Steelers have ranked near the bottom of the AFC in forced turnovers. Pittsburgh caused 15 turnovers in 2011 (last in the AFC) and 20 last season (12th in the AFC).

Polamalu's games have dwindled along with the turnovers. He has only had one full season in the past four years. Since 2009, Polamalu has played in 42 games and has missed 22.
