A look at how the AFC South stands in key statistical categories through Week 6:
Of note:
Houston’s rush defense dropped from fifth to 12th as the Texans nearly allowed two 100-yard backs in the win over Kansas City. Thanks to the Chiefs nine-for-16 conversion rate on third down, Houston plummeted seven spots in third-down defense.
Jacksonville’s third-down offense dove eight spots after converting just three of 13 chances against the Titans. And the Jaguars’ three points meant they dropped all the way from 13th to 23rd in scoring.
Tennessee moved up seven spots in third down offense thanks to converting eight of 14 chances in Jacksonville. The Titans moved from 22nd to 16th in total defense and from 10th to fourth in points allowed after holding the Jaguars to 249 net yards and three points.
