Jaguars likely without seven players for game against Detroit

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- While the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to have running back T.J. Yeldon and defensive end Chris Clemons back for Friday’s game against the Detroit Lions, the team will likely be without seven other players who suffered injuries against the New York Giants:

  • Receiver Arrelious Benn suffered a broken collarbone and will have surgery on Tuesday.

  • Offensive tackle Josh Wells dislocated his left thumb and will meet with a hand specialist on Monday.

  • Cornerback Demetrius McCray has a right knee contusion and will have an MRI.

  • Linebacker LaRoy Reynolds suffered an injury to the MCL in his left knee and will continue to be evaluated.

  • Linebacker Khairi Fortt injured the meniscus in his knee.

  • Receiver Damian Copeland suffered a separated shoulder.

  • Receiver Greg Jenkins suffered a high ankle sprain.
