Little is more fun than taking an NFL road trip. With the 2010 NFL schedule released Tuesday, here is a suggestion for fans of each team in the AFC West to go cheer on their team on the road:
Denver
Oct. 31 against San Francisco in London
Why: When are you going to get the chance to see your favorite team play in Europe again? The NFL playing regular-season games in London is becoming routine, but it is new for Denver. What an opportunity.
Kansas City
Nov. 28 at Seattle
Why: It will bring back memories. I’m sure many Kansas City fans used to take the trip to the Pacific Northwest when the Seahawks were part of the old AFC West. Relive memories or make new ones if you’ve never been to a game in Seattle. What a great place to visit.
Oakland
Sept. 12 at Tennessee
Why: Nashville is a cool city to visit. Why not start the season off right by rooting on Oakland in the season opener against a strong Titans’ team? A Raiders win in Week 1 would set the tone for the season. Help make it happen.
San Diego
Nov. 28 at Indianapolis
Why: Take advantage of the long Thanksgiving weekend by watching the Chargers in a pivotal game. This prime-time game will likely be huge and the Chargers could use all the support they can get.
