No future love for tight ends

No AFC West tight ends made Matt Williamson’s cut for the top 10 players to the position in 2015 in an Insider pieceInsider. I think Kansas City’s Tony Moeaki will be a top player in three years. He was great as a rookie before missing last season with a torn ACL. Williamson gave Moeaki an honorable mention nod.

I think it is fair right now not to consider any other tight end in the division, although Denver’s Julius Thomas and San Diego’s Ladarius Green are worth watching develop.

In other AFC West news:

New San Diego backup running back Ronnie Brown doesn’t think the fact that he is 30 is a big deal, because he doesn’t have much wear-and-tear on his body.
