Moving on: San Diego Chargers

Here are some areas the San Diego Chargers need to focus on after a 37-20 win at Kansas City on Sunday:

Recap: The Chargers dominated the Chiefs in a game for first place in the division. San Diego is now 3-1 and in first place alone in the AFC West. It was a great rebound game for San Diego after it was hammered at home by Atlanta last week. San Diego jumped out to a 20-0 lead and the game was never in question.

Biggest area to fix: The offense. There have been lulls in all three games and the offense was stagnant against Atlanta. The defense fueled this win. I want to see sustained drives from this unit. It'd be nice if receiver Robert Meachem, a free-agent pickup, got into the action. He has not been a factor this season.

Biggest area to build on: Creating turnovers. The Chiefs committed six turnovers. The Chargers forced three fumbles and coerced Matt Cassel into throwing three interceptions. This was a strong testament to a much improved defense.

What to watch for: It’s Philip Rivers vs. Drew Brees. The Saints are 0-4 and they will be desperate for a victory after two tough losses.
