At SI.com, three of the seven predictions included the Cardinals, and two, Doug Farrar's and Austin Murphy's, had the Cardinals winning.
Gil Brandt of NFL.com was the only one to predict the Cards in the Super Bowl there, but he had them losing.
The Cardinals were a popular choice at USA Today to win the NFC West at the midpoint, but nobody chose them to win the NFC. However, Bruce Arians was the midseason coach of the year running away. Yet nobody picked defensive coordinator Todd Bowles for assistant coach of the year.
