Welcome to #CardsMailbag, a weekly installment that allows you to ask me questions about the Arizona Cardinals throughout the week via Twitter@joshweinfuss. I'll answer them every weekend during the offseason. Make sure to use the hashtag #CardsMailbag.
@joshweinfuss From what I saw during minicamp and organized team activities, I think it's pretty realistic. Now, with that being said, Logan Thomas could end up on the roster if Phillip Sims doesn't continue to progress or the stage gets too big for him -- which I doubt will happen because of his experience playing in big-time college football atmospheres.
@joshweinfuss how realistic, do you believe, that Logan Thomas does not even make the team?— wally simon (@optimizetaste) July 17, 2015
@joshweinfuss In short: Yes. Those three are guys that need to hit people to show their value to a franchise, especially Rodney Gunter. He has the most to prove and I expect him to be flying around once pads are on. Markus Golden and Shaq Riddick are both guys who have proved their talent level in college, but will show what they're capable of in the NFL in pads.
@joshweinfuss have not heard much Gunter/golden/riddick during minicamp. Do u think they will make more noise now that pads r coming on ?— prakash badri (@PrakBadri) July 17, 2015
@joshweinfuss I've answered a slew of Daryl Washington questions throughout the last few weeks but I wouldn't put much stock in using Greg Hardy's suspension as a comparison to what Washington will get. Remember, Hardy was found guilty of assaulting and threatening his ex-girlfriend but his appeal was dismissed, vacating the guilty charges, whereas Washington pleaded guilty and fulfilled his probation. The difference in final charges may change how Washington's discipline is handled.
@joshweinfuss if g hardy got four game is dwash around the same amount of games maybe more— mondo mz (@Kaygerbear72) July 18, 2015
