Projecting the starting lineups for the Arizona Cardinals heading into training camp.


Quarterback (Carson Palmer): He went 6-0 last season. Arizona was 5-5 without him.

Running back (Andre Ellington): He didn't have one 100-yard rushing game in the 12 games he played.

Wide receiver (Larry Fitzgerald): He’s coming off his worst statistical season since his rookie year.

Wide receiver (Michael Floyd): He finished last season with 200 fewer yards than in 2013.

Right tackle (Bobby Massie): He’s entering the final season of his rookie contract.

Right guard (Jonathan Cooper): He’s started two games in two seasons but has transitioned to right guard from the left side.

Center (A.Q. Shipley): He started the first four games of last season for the Colts.

Left guard (Mike Iupati): He was the second-best run-blocking guard last season, according to Pro Football Focus.

Left tackle (Jared Veldheer): He was the ninth-best tackle overall in 2014, according to Pro Football Focus.

Tight end (Troy Niklas): Used mostly as a blocker, he caught all three of his targets last season.

Tight end (Darren Fells): The 29-year-old has just 10 career games on his résumé.


Defensive end (Calais Campbell): He made the Pro Bowl for the first time last season.

Defensive tackle (Frostee Rucker): He signed a one-year extension during the offseason.

Defensive tackle (Corey Peters): He finished last season with seven of his 26 tackles in the final four games.

Outside linebacker (Lorenzo Alexander): He played just 47 snaps in 2014.

Outside linebacker (Alex Okafor): His eight sacks came in 13 games last season.

Inside linebacker (Kevin Minter): He played 305 of his 306 career snaps in 2014.

Inside linebacker (Sean Weatherspoon): He’s played seven games in the last two seasons.

Left cornerback (Patrick Peterson): He had three interceptions for the second straight season in 2014.

Right cornerback (Jerraud Powers): He had a career-high three interceptions last season.

Free safety (Tyrann Mathieu): He says he feels like the Honey Badger of 2013 -- when he had 68 tackles, two interceptions, a sack and a forced fumble.

Strong safety (Rashad Johnson): He returned two of his four interceptions for touchdowns last year.


Kicker (Chandler Catanzaro): He made the first 17 field goals of his career, setting an NFL record for a rookie.

Punter (Dave Zastudil): He missed 14 games last season with a groin injury.

Long-snapper (Mike Leach): He enters the 2015 season with a 200 consecutive-game streak intact.

Returner (John Brown): Four of his five touchdowns were game winners.
