TEMPE, Ariz. – The depth of the Arizona Cardinals' defensive line could be tested this week.
Coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday that defensive tackles Cory Redding and Frostee Rucker, both of whom didn’t practice Wednesday, will “probably miss” Sunday’s game at San Francisco. Fellow defensive tackle Ed Stinson didn’t practice Wednesday, either, but Arians hopes he’ll be back at practice Thursday.
Also not practicing Wednesday were cornerback Patrick Peterson (ankle) and wide receiver John Brown (hamstring). Arians said Peterson could practice Thursday but he thinks Friday is a more likely, while Brown should get practice reps Thursday.
Wide receiver Michael Floyd (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday after missing all of last week.
“Mike is responding well,” Arians said. “he had a good practice today. He’s not full speed but he’s close.”
Linebacker LaMarr Woodley also didn’t practice Wednesday.
